PROJECT OVERVIEW
UNICO Engineering partnered with Elevate Advisors to enhance and document their recruiting and onboarding processes, aiming to improve operational efficiency and ensure consistency across the firm. Recognizing the importance of a well-structured approach, UNICO sought Elevate’s expertise to streamline these processes while maintaining flexibility for future growth.
Elevate conducted a detailed review of UNICO’s existing recruiting and onboarding workflows followed by conducting interviews to gather additional information. Elevate’s approach included creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each process, ensuring that UNICO’s practices were not only streamlined but also aligned with industry best practices. The project was divided into several phases, each focusing on different aspects of the recruiting and onboarding lifecycle:
- Recruiting Process: Elevate documented procedures for sourcing candidates from various platforms, established guidelines for social media use, and developed templates for job postings. Additionally, Elevate helped design a Doer-Recruiter Program to engage employees in recruitment efforts and improve talent acquisition.
- Pre-Hire and Post-Hire Processes: Elevate outlined clear steps for pre-hire screenings, interviews, reference checks, and job offer management. For onboarding, the team developed a step-by-step guide, including pre-boarding tasks and checklists to ensure new hires were equipped and ready for success on their first day.
- Training and Implementation: Elevate also provided training sessions to ensure that UNICO’s key stakeholders could effectively implement the enhanced processes.
